What resolution does an image need to be for it to appear full size in a post? Is this best achieved by selecting "Upload a File"?

I can't help with the required dimensions but can help with the full size bit.

Provided the pic is the correct size, after you click Upload a File and it loads you'll have two options to display. Thumbnail and Full Image. The latter will be what you want.

Here's an example of each.

Both are clickable to view a larger image.
