Images Of Your Demko Knives & Discussion

The MGAD22S looks good, real good. Drops the weight down to 3.8 ozs... thumbs up Will be nice to see some different blade shapes.

The size of that slot hole is a bit surprising to me. To put all that effort into a robust lock, and quite a chunk of a tang, and than mill out that much of the blade.

I'm sure the Demko guys have torture-tested the knife but it makes me think if you had this thing stabbed into something and twisted with body weight it might just snap on the slot (instead of the pivot like a common knife.

Looks frickin cool as hell though

I like the texturing on the AD22's! It looks a lot different than the regular G10 texturing on the AD20's.

I was really prepared to want the MG22, however, it sounds like (all?) the Ti models will have milled-out pockets in the scales. I very much dislike that, as I always prefer full-weight scales. I stopped buying Hinderer products, one they lightened all of their Ti scales. The Eclipse I own, with the milled-out show-side scale, feels cheap and sounds tinny, when compared with my other models.

I also like full weight but it's not a deal breaker for me.

NKD! Look what showed up in my mailbox last night!! Knife Center Exclusive Whale Shark! Full size, full thickness AD20 with a killer Magnacut blade profile! This is the knife that the Compacts are based on...

One more grail checked of my short list!! What a beauty!

They are slightly rare to find in the wild but I was lucky to find this NIB for table price!

I heard the KC is coming out with a Whale Shark XL fairly soon as well! I'm just elated to have found this one!
Personally, given a choice between the two, I'd opt for the version you have. It's just right.

Not sure what you are referring to.
Sorry...referring to John Phillip's photos from a few posts above...

I have milled out all ti compact and let me tell you there’s nothing light weight about it. At first I thought it was too heavy to carry but it’s grown on me.
