I bought this new in the early 2000s and used it to put a makers mark on knives (business is long gone). It worked perfectly and was used about 40 or so times. IMG was great to deal with and they made the stencil patterns for me based on artwork I sent in.
I bought this as a kit with two Hand Markers, a 4397 and a 4650. The 4650 has a graphite component, which broke (dropped). I called IMG and I was told that today a replacement is $50.00. Liquids for etching are available from IMG.
