Important Note - RAT Warranty and Gurantee

Our attorney suggested we post this on our web sites and public forums:

RAT only guarantees and offers customer service on knives built by RAT Cutlery Company and does not guarantee or offer any customer service for knives that are manufactured by any other company, regardless of the misuse of our trademarks.
 
We absolutely will replace a broken knife, no questions asked BUT we must have the broken knife back first. I am getting folks who ask for a warranty replacement on a say so. I cannot and will not do that. If you buy a knife and it has a lifetime warranty it would be wise to keep the broken pieces if and when it fails. AND when you send it back to us send it in a way that you have a tracking number to find it if it disappears. I have also had folks say they sent it back and it never shows up. Take a little precaution when sending something back that is going to reap you a free replacement.
SO to recap:
One-- send us the broken knife.
Two-- Send it so you have a tracking number to deal with lost packages. (UPS,FEDEX, REgistered USPS, etc)

Three-- email me and I will send you the warranty form that must be filled out and packaged with the return.
