I'm just stuck on the labs - easy to train, good family temperment, will hunt birds.....

I've had several labs over the years and they are great dogs.

Jake is indeed a happy dog. Everything we do is his favorite thing to do, no matter what it is. He is also the most highly trained dog I have ever had, though he still has a lot to learn. He gets in and out of the canoe on command, goes to bed on command, eats on command, poops and pees on command. I kid you not. He knows in excess of two dozen word commands. And he is a good friend and companion. Being a service animal, I can take him anywhere I go. He can even ride at my feet on a commercial airliner and go places that do not allow pets.
