Important Schrade news!

Looks like some unnamed knife co. is looking at the Schrade plant. Any ideas who it is? Hopefully they'll keep the Old Timer brand alive.

That would be sweet!!!! :) I had heard about two weeks ago (?) A tire company was seriously looking. I hope another knife manufacturer takes over, that would be wonderful!!!! :D (Lord willing)
 
Scuttle butt Camillus. Or else perhapes you will have to speak a foreign language to work there. LT
 
Well that would be good news if Camillus took over the plant!
Doesn't the same family or extended family own Camillus?
It might be a good fit to take over the plant,streamline operations and get on with business.........

If it's done right, could be good news indeed!
I've heard from other sources that there are people interested, too.
Shoot, I would buy it if I had the dough, but I gotta get my kids through college first... :D
 
I'm sure the idea has probably been mentioned, but it would be nice if the employees rallied together and bought the company. IIRC, that was the case with Smith & Wesson, as well as a few other firearms companies.
