I purchased an old 80's Buck 303 on eBay that turned out a lot rougher than it appeared. I sent it in to Buck to see if it could be repaired and just received this in the mail. Buck couldn't repair the knife, but sent me a brand new replacement and a 25% off coupon. Way more than I would have expected from any company. Talk about standing behind a product! Thank you Buck!

Thats good to know. I have a Buck Prince I got as a gift when I was a teenager. It was carried for years and years, but never abused. It has developed such a side to side blade play that it is not useful to carry anymore. I have been planning on contacting Buck about sending it in for years now, and I think this was just the push I need to do so. Thanks OP and glad to hear they took care of you.
 
@59Bassman - whoops, well first come first serve. I don't mind paying full price on my next Buck purchase. Probably another Custom Shop blade.

@Collim1 - I sent another in for repair and they repaired it for the cost of shipping. Really good service.
