Impressive gadgets/gear ?

Leatherman Wave, for its quality and overall usefulness. I carry it all the time and have beaten it up beyond all warranty and it's still as good as the day I bought it about 3 years ago.

Maxpedition Fatboy. Well designed, high quality, and "cool factor" unlimited.

GPS. I am still amazed at this technology, unthinkable a generation ago, and now available to anyone. Truly a wonderful invention.

Casio Promaster watch. Ugly but with more functions than I found a use for, inexpensive and nearly bulletproof.

Haven't found the perfect flashlight yet, but having fun looking.

Nice to know there are more gadget freaks out there! :D

Atwood Prybaby. Its a high tech bottle opener, which you gotta have on your keychain, plus its a mini prybar, screwdriver and nail puller.
Miniphoton light. weighs nothing on the keychain and is bright enough so you won't fall down.

(I don't like electronic gadgets, I'm not smart enough to figure out how to use them, they're expensive and they're easy to break!)

I was in total awe of my first brand name tape deck. Don't laugh, I was 19, it had the option to play cds through a cord that would plug into my tape deck, not a tape, but an actual cord port. It had 3 fm bands and two am bands. It was better than the factory junker the truck came with.

I was very happy with a Crosman air pistol modified with a stock etc. Took a grackle and a crow in flight, and I'm a terrible shot. Also took out a window, which was very childish.

Played with my fathers night vision binoculars, which were pretty neat. Don't know what brand, whatever was cheapest out of Cabelas.

My Ruger P85.

My first cell phone. Some piece of Ericsson junk. My current one, I don't know what brand it is, I don't care about the options, it's light years ahead of the Ericsson, but I leave it in my truck for emergencies.

My uncles iBook.

Several gadgets have caught my heart in recent years.
my RCA Lyra http://www.mp3playersreview.com/img/rca/rd1080.jpg I love it because it's small , holds more than enough music for me plus has slot for mem card upgrade , radio and I can store other files on it for work if need be.

My Surefire Nirtolon http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/prrfnbr/878/sesent/00#
Not the most costly one (fine by me) and outdoes what I need it to do , love it !!

My Spyderco Meerkat http://store1.yimg.com/I/yhst-15960162203061_1852_9367681 Love this little knife ! Mine is the serrated version , lotsa "cut for the buck".

Breakfree CLP http://www.madogre.com/Interviews/breakfree.htm This might not qualify as G&G but nonetheless it has more than impressed the hell out of me in every single application I have used it on.

T.H.E. Wallet http://www.specopsbrand.com/main.html I had previously used the same "Biker" style leather wallet for about 20 years (no kidding) and it had seen its last leg. I couldnt find another well made one like it that I liked so I got one of these and I love it ! A bit big for some folks but for me it works perfectly.

My Pelican L1 http://www.pelicanproducts.us/detailaspx171.html I use this for work when doing installs , love the light and the customer service is great. Cheap to replace if lost or whatever. LED's in general have come a long way the last few years , Photon microlight is another fave , my keyring model is green light , has been banged around for going on 3 years and still works fine , still havent replaced battery and I payed under 10$$ for it , gotta love that.

My Astra A100 http://www.gunsworld.com/spain/astra_a100_us.html Quite simply one of the most reliable handguns I have ever owned. Very easy to field strip and clean , has jammed once in the 8 years I have used it (bad re-load ammo) otherwise fires those cheap reloads and the more powerful Hydra-Shok JHP's with no problemo !

Heh, if you update to the new update from 1.5 you lose the ability to run homebrews. I love running doom2 on my PSP :D

That's cool...but the web browser is something I've been wanting since the beginning. Now I can surf the net without having to sit in front of my PC. :D

...agreed on the photon- and I've been looking to get a prybaby also :) - I also like the tiny (5") prybars made by craftsman- I always have one in my gear bag -as also mentioned the fisher bullet space pen is great...I also love my surefire e1e- small enough to fit in a bomber jacket shoulder pocket and a lot of fun...I also like my Lexar flash drive- sits on my lanyard at work and lets me keep a stupid amount of files around my neck- and as much as I hate to admit it- my kel-tec p-32 semi-auto- the damn thing fits behind my wallet...
