Improvement to the Sebenza?

My experience with CRK's is limited to the one I have, a 31 that's about 8 months old (6 months of use). Though I may be burned for saying this I do not think it's a "perfect" knife. The thumbstud is a weird/biting shape and it's not placed in quite the right spot for me. I have very large hands and it's not an easy knife to open. I understand people want a "hydraulic" feel but I'd like them to be a little friendlier.

Once open they are about as good as it gets.

I see people replace the stock thumb studs for the reason you describe, so you are not alone. My guess is most people are like me and think it works great as is (or we are brainwashed). If I were you I’d look into one of the services that changes the studs…maybe then it would be perfect?

The stock thumb stud on my Umnumzaan work great for me and I can open my knife very quickly and smoothly. My recommendation for improving all of CR’s knives is to greatly ramp up your high quality production rate while lowering your prices!

The only improvement I want from CRK is to bring back the Impofu.

The Sebenza is perfect for me as it is.
