impulse buys…what was your last impulse buy? gun or knife related..

absolutely noxious, as well as weapons of all kinds and art of all kinds-- not for cabinets or shelves but knives, swords, guns and stuff related too them. canes and walkings sticks, even clubs -- just weapon related stuff.

Even if this deal falls through I am going to keep looking for some desert ironwood logs

Was just looking with no intention of buying anything and there was a Dan Wesson .45 ECO. Bought it on the spot an did not cry about the cost:eek: till the credit card bill arrived.

A ZT 0560BW on my way to a motorcycle race in July, knife store was in the opposite direction.

Same last Saturday. Picked up a ZT0562CF from the same store, again different direction to where I needed to go.

Come to think of it, my last impulse buy prior to those two was my CRK 25 micarta inlay, which I bought when I went there to just get a couple of knives sharpened. When I saw it in the case it had to be mine! Had been sitting there for several weeks waiting on me to show up. It was meant to be.

I love my ZT0560BW...super smooth, looks awesome, nice and big, comfortable, and came RAZOR sharp from ZT. Only knock I have is that the flipper is a little sharp and stiff. Just needs to be broken in a bit though!

Two 1911s at about 2:30 this morning. My firearms purchases have been somewhat out of control as of late. Oh well, only get to ride the life train once so might as well enjoy it.

Go Garth Go! 1911 or any gun I've decided is always a good buy. After reading this I realized I needed my RRA....but I did just order a spyderco rock lobster from a forum member!

So since I've decided my RRA wasn't random it would have to be my Alan Folts tistix I just had to have them couldn't find the exact pair I wanted but the ones I got I love... But did I need them... No!

Not a knife or a gun but its sharp and mighty hefty. Local flea market spotted a big Plumb in what I believe is a Connecticut pattern with original handle barely used. She weighs in at 6lb 8 ounces.

Now that a pretty ax! Great score!

A bunch of places have had ACOGs on sale lately. Three fingers of Lagavulin (neat) convinced me I needed a TA31H68 to put on my 6.8 SPC AR-15.

Came across this on the 'Bay - sold by the maker, at a reduced price due to some minor scuffing Blade is 17" in length, 2.25" wide. Weighs in at 3 lbs, 2.7 oz - a little hefty, but I like it.

I guess it wasn't a total "impulse" buy, since I had to wait 5 days for the auction to end...and I didn't place my bid until just before the buzzer sounded, so I had plenty of time to rationalize & change my mind; but I wasn't planning on purchasing something like this, and the decision was made as soon as I saw it.
