The USPS delivered an order the other day
that was intended to be a Benchmade Stryker
M2 only order . At the last minute , I added
an Impulse to the order just to see what it
was really like.I was flat shocked when I opened the Impulse.I have never seen a knife
of that quality at that price point.I can't
express the amazement I feel.I compaired it
to the fit and finish of the Stryker and be
honest in saying there is no way to justify
the price difference in these knives. Informal cutting tests put the Sandvlk 12e27 way ahead of aus-8 IMO .You folks are making it hard to justify spending more for a factory cutting tool then you charge for the Impulse.

Thanks SD and glad you like your new Impulse. We kept pushing our manufacturer for their best quality on the Impulse and we are also thrilled with the end result. There are always problems that occur in the first production run of any new knife however on the Impulse they have nailed it right on.

To attain this quality our final manufacturing cost was higher than expected and therefore we will be raising the price of the Impulse 10% in January. Even with this increase the Impulse still offers a solid value.

Thanks for your comments. Also note there is an Impulse thread running in "Knife Reviews". If you want to add any comments to this it would be appreciated.

We are just getting started with the Impulse. Keep your eye out for additional innovative, high quality OE folders in the future.
