I have an idea (uh oh). I want to make a small video, hi res and high quality. I want to film the quenching of a clayed katana type blade in water/brine, but I will be quenching in a clear glass fish tank and filming from the side so the natural curving action, as well as the vapor phase and cooling phase can be seen firsthand. Any comments? Would there be any interest in this sort of thing?

call the people that do the show time warp
they do hi def hispeed slow mo stuff and it might be coo to see all the little things that happen

A Hi-Def Slow motion vid! wow! that would be great. You gonna do this in digital? Man that is gonna eat up some memory. Hi Def takes alot but double or triple that for a slow motion vid.

In one of JT's knife videos he uses a large glass jar for his quenchant and it looks pretty sweet. It would be really cool close up and even cooler in slow-mo or with a long blade getting a curve.
