Svashtar, you did the right thing. Taking care of each other voluntarily (without asking any government to do it for us) is the way to true peace and prosperity for all......
 
You give more to us I think then we can repay.
I know everytime a khukuri is sold, it's truely helping someone.

I believe that for most of us who buy a khukuri here, we may have to do without that fancy meal, or new coat or whatever for a few paydays in order to "replenish the knife fund" :D. No big deal for us I think. But I know that when we do buy one. The money really helps those who need it the most.

I often wonder how much money from some of the charities actually trickles down to the real people in need.
Since I started coming HI, I've never wondered. I know that every penny possible goes to help the kamis.

This a great place with big hearted people.
