They aren't intrusive so I could care less. I do like how 1sks is always displayed on the homepage though :D :thumbup:
 
cough up for a premium account, or download an ad blocker add-on for your browser. I don't know how anyone can surf the web without an ad blocker, I would go insane.
 
Ads won't show to paid subscriptions once I get this fixed.
 
if a few ads is all it takes to keep this wonderful forum running smoothly than its a small price to pay....figuratively speaking

If you are appreciative of Blade Forums, you won't use an ad blocker. Frequently, the client gets paid for the number of viewings as well as any click throughs. So, you can still support the site, without having to pony-up for a paid subscription, by allowing the ads.
 
I dont like ad's, but I like blade forums, so I'm gonna stop free loading soon and pay for a membership. I'v been putting it off and having to look at banner ads now is a good excuse :D
 
Yeah, we'll be using a CPM model and not a CPC one. I hate to even put ads up in the first place, but that's part of life.
 
A basic paid subscription is small potatoes compared to one purchase of a decent run-of-the-mill production knife and no more expensive than a year's magazine subscription.

The ads aren't there to make you pay, they are there to help support the site. All this bandwidth comes at a hefty price. You use it. Why not help support it?:)
