Buck puts grooves, for your fingers, into knife handles brilliantly. Get a grip.

FGs need no defense IMHO. They have a welcome place in my neck of the woods.

Thank you kindly for looking.

You state your case well. I'm a fan. Hard not to like them when presented in this fashion!

Thank you for the kind words Case & Plum.

Now then, this is not a drop dead gorgeous Apple Coral spear straight thru the eye and then quickly into the heart organic scale wonder. No, it is not. Uh uh (thankfully it isn't as I still in the recovery mode and couldn't take the excitement).

It is a man made 560 FG (Crystal Champagne Ion Fusion blade, 1 of 12). Yup. In the classic pose for your amusement (no knives were injured during the production of this photograph):

Fantastic pics, Oregon.

I was starting to get seasick looking at all those waves, but they sure are purdy!

Oregon, I'm glad you have too much time on your hands . Good photos . I like finger grooves too . DM

Thank you for the kind words. My idea, in support of FGs, was to overdo it with a stormy sea of peaks and valleys. :D

I count four grooves on the handl's belly of each knife. None topside for the thumb, however... No thumb grooves, huh.

Hay now thats a sweet lay out there Pacific coaster!

Thank you.

I didn't realize how many FG 110s I had until I started a desktop stampede with them. The many contours reflect light differently and give 3d depth. With 3d movies and now 3d TVs can 3D computers be far behind. That would change our show and tell: Look at the cutlery on screen and think that you could be cut! Some day.

THX.

The whole clan is with family in the southern part of the state leaving me to fend for myself on the forums. Someone has to bring in the bacon, keep the home fires burning and flog the forumites.

How does Buck do the FGs? Probably a trade secret. They have to be a lot of trouble as they seem so complex to me. Making them without flaw and so smooth couldn't be easy.

Thank you ITE.

You shall have them on SPS in trade for the custom shop rigging knife! :D

Can anyone anywhere do fingergrooves this well? Who else has mastered them in such a manner as Buck?

The Buck hammer is another premium from SMKW like the anvils from last year. I completely dozed during the anvils was wide awake for the ballpeen hammer.

Oregon, great pictures of those FG's. I only one one FG and it is a Craftsman that was more than likely made by Camillus. I will show the picture but it is nothing compared to your collection. In defense of the picture of my Craftsman knives there is one 110 in the center.

Terrific photograph with fine detail so I can read the tang stamps. Thank you kindly. I was hoping that I wasn't the only one here with a few red-haired step-children FGs. :D

What a great looking group. There are so many similarities between the Craftman and the Buck they look like they were made by the same manufacturer. They look new. Brand spankin new.

oregon those knives are groovey, man!:thumbup: When I order a custom it's gonna be a finger groove one.:)
