Grubbing hoes would just have the perpendicular blade rather than also having the short axe blade on the reverse. At least that's my understanding.

That's what we think of as a grub hoe in the Northwest.

A common hoe the U.S. is a garden hoe like this, Andi.

A grub hoe is heavier duty and has a short handle like an adze.

Ah.. ok. One of theese small differences

I used my Hoopoe today again, and even very much. We made a fence in the wood to protect the young trees from deer and wild boars.
