In Honor of Father for 11/28 -- Pix and Gift

im done till christmas unless yangdu starts having DOTD for $10 khuks :p

That would be great :D ... for us.

Bad for Yangdu and the Kamis:(

Still, she said those these were from November 27 to 30 so there will still be some more tomorrow and Thursday :D

Found out from Bladite that the CAK is full tang. That was a nice surprise, as I know little about the HI line.

Will take lots of pics when I receive it and give it a workout.

whew!!! thanks guyon... if you ever consider selling it drop me a line

you say that a lot. what if 20 people took you up on it at once? on a really good DOTD day? :>

pala and yangdu, you have outdone yourselves on this DOTD... thank you and happy hollidays

These prices are way too good to just let them sit there. Since it went begging for 24 hours I snagged the WWII as a Christmas present for a friend. He was out at our place hunting yesterday and I showed him some HI khukris. By the look on his face I can tell it will be a well spent $70, and the WWII is a good starter khukri.
Come on guys, there are still three great bargains just waiting for you.

The Kobra had been calling me back to this thread for a couple of days. I noticed it marked as "sold" today, so I can now let it go. One of these days, though... (Congrats to the recipient.)

DITTO - Eric, I've done exactly the same thing - taken about a dozen looks at this beauty. It looks gorgeous to me, but beyond that couldn't think of a good reason to buy it. We took care of the last of the zombies around here about 3 years ago ;) :D

My very first khukuri was an 18" Kobra by Sher. I would like to get a longer one (22"+) sometime.

Eric

I really thought hard about that kobra that was offered. Even though my cash is limited around this time (debts good, right?) it was still quite tempting. I have been looking at getting a whole set of kobras (18, 20, 25 and 30), with the hope of getting them all by Sher and in sisau, however this 22" was to close to my 25 that I couldn't really justify it. Maybe I will end up regretting it, which I always do, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Congrats to those who got all these great deals.
