In Memory of "Marbles" ( my heart is broken)

I'm sorry karda for your family's loss. The joy Marbles brought to you both is something to be cherished. Nothing lasts forever - the things that make our lives brighter are the things that make life beautiful. Without joy there would be no pain. Supporting our local animal shelter to the best of our abilitites...

I'm doing my part by adopting a young adult female Basset hound. I've always wanted a Basset. Then, I found out about this pooch named Lucy, who looks just like the Hushpuppies dog.
I've been a dog person all my life. Haven't had a dog in about 8 years, since my Lasa Apso died.
I'd forgotten how much I missed having one.
Sorry for your loss.

Thank you guys!
and thank you Jaymo for giving a loving soul a good home!

Today is the wifes birthday. I just got a call that marbles' ashes have been returned (we had him cremated).
We are going to go bring our little boy home. We still miss him terribly, but this is probably the best thing she could've got today.

You have my deepest sympathy. It is the hardest part about owning a pet. I always just try to remember all the great times that we had and that I tried to give them the best loving home they could ever want. You know that Marbles would tell you that you did just that. Time will take away the sharp edge of pain and leave you with the best memories of your friend.

Thanks Shann!
I'm sure he would say that. The hardest part right now for us here is just missing the joy of having him here to pet, hold and snuggle. I remember the good times, for sure, and am glad we had the time to share together.
