Swisstool vs. swisstool spirit. Which one would you pick and why?

Swisstool is considerably bigger and heavier. If you complain about the weight of LM Blast, you're gonna hate the 9.8 oz Swisstool.

Ergonomic in the pliers form only or all around?

Mainly the pliers. I had both for a while and I ended up selling the regular and keeping the Spirit. Smaller, lighter, and more comfortable to use and carry in my opinion.

Swisstool vs. swisstool spirit. Which one would you pick and why?

The Swisstool is kind of the ultimate, IMHO. I own the Swisstool RS. I like everything about it, as long as I plan to sheath carry it or carry it in a briefcase (I do the latter every work day). The only negative about the tool is that it is too heavy for pocket carry, IMHO.

Aesthetically, I much prefer the clean rectangular lines of the full sized Swisstool versus the Spirits. However, in the open position, the Swisstool Spirits make a lot of sense. And they are small enough ... if still a bit big for my tastes ... for pocket carry.

Therefore, to answer your question, if pocket carry and weight are big factors, buy a Spirit. Otherwise, get a full sized Swisstool.
