I've been the recipient of more than a couple of knives on this forum. I've given away a few knives, but I haven't in awhile. I have a little project I had been planning on doing and creating a giveaway, but life has been in the way.

I'm hoping to make amends by offering what is my favorite knife. It's not perfect. It's got nicks in the bolster, springs ain't square. There is a small gap in the back spring. The sheepsfoot has a little wobble.

But, it's got some beautiful bone covers that have aged well since I bought it.

I've sharpened and have used this knife. It's cleaned game, processed meat, cooked dinner, fixed cars and about anything else.

It ain't perfect, but it's a great knife. Of all of the great knives I've had through my hands, this one is just like your favorite pair of jeans..... or in my case overalls.

Rules:
Entrants are regular members of the Porch.
Entrants post "I'm in."
Entrants post a picture of thier current favorite knife
I will select the winner in about a week via random number generator...... really I'm going to buy another Case 6375 to replace this on and need time to do so.

What a wonderful give away! I would love to give that Case a place in my family of knives :) Here's a picture of one of my current favorites.

I'm in, Gus.

But if I win, we meet in person and I buy ya lunch.

Hell we need to do that anyway lol.

Inspired give-away. Not an entry because I am going to let someone else have the chance but I wanted to say thank you for doing this! I'm a big fan of well loved knives and I have been planning to pick up a stockman as my next user. The bone has a beautiful pocket worn look. Please post a pick of the replacement when you get it. I'm laid up after tweaking my back so I have to recycle a picture.

Thanks for the chance, I'm in for that beautiful red bone stockman. Here is one of my all-time favorites-- same color scheme!

Wow Gus so incredibly generous for a man to offer up his favorite knife. I'm in because I feel it would be an honor to own and use a fellow members favorite EDC knife that he has carried, used and loved for so long.

I thought long and hard about my favorite knife and though I have many that I love for many different reason's I keep coming back to one. It's my Boker 494 Barlow.

Lovely stockman. I'm in.

Right now, my favorite is this Steel toenail Northfield.

Im in, great stockman... so much character. Thanks for the generosity. Here are two of my most beloved blades... and yes, the Randall sees regular use. Good luck everyone!

I'm in if I can with no pic. My favorite user currently is my Krein regrind of a bem Queen #h49. The D2 cuts like a dream-and it's the size of the Case. 'Course it has a hoof pick, punch, and only the long clip point blade. Be nice to try another that size, with 3 blades.
Thanks, Neal

I have and have had a few Case knives, but that stockman looks like one that I would really use.

My current favorite:

NOt an entry because I have one I don't carry much; it's a little long for my jurisdiction.

Thanks for a great GAW of a great knife anyway.

Wow. So very generous. I'm in. I keep getting reminded that it's about time for me to do another give away also. This forum has more kindness, as well as unbelievably huge qualities of freely shared knowledge.......and wealth. You people (individually, and as a group), are absolutely amazing. However, according to my wife, partially responsible for my inability to save any money at all. [emoji51][emoji56]

For me, it's really hard to nail down my favorite. Just about everything I handle becomes a new favorite in some way or another. [emoji51]. The last couple annual forum knives put a smile on my face. And also my peanut sized "Beagle". My wife, youngest son and I are taking advantage of the long weekend, and spending some time in southern Utah. Trying to get out of the cold. Both the Beagle and Drover made their way into my "weekend bag".

I only have a few GEC's, and love all of them. But I'm sad to say that to this day, I have not ever owned a Case (well, as far as I can remember anyway). I don't know why either. I guess when the buy bug hit, there was always something that stood out louder. Maybe my cheap-skate-ed-ness is why I have a boat load of RR's/Colts, but only a few worthy of generational pass-down.
