In order to make amends, I offer my favorite... neal70 winner!

Not an entry, but this is a fine GAW, and a very fine knife. Whatever amending you feel needed to do, I think this makes you square.

More than makes amends! :D I'm certainly in thank you as an old CASE is what I lack.

Here's my 'Beater' it sees a lot of use

There are some beautiful "favorites" being posted!
I'm in. This is very generous of you to offer up a knife that has so much sentimental value to you. This one checks quite a few boxes for me. I've wanted a vintage Case, especially one in gorgeous red bone for some time now. Ive also been meaning to grab another stockman lately.
After daily carry for almost 3 months now this peanut is quickly moving into the favorite spot. It has aged quite a bit since this picture.

You sir are a class act! Not an entry just dropped in to tell you thanks for all you do around here to make the porch what it is. I've really enjoyed reading your posts and look forward to many more.

That's a great-looking knife Woodrow, nice idea for a giveaway  Not an entry from me please, but good luck everyone

Not an entry, but giving away your favorite knife is an exceedingly generous thing to do. I for one am impressed and humbled, sir!

I think you folks know my favorite EDC. It's the one in my avatar - Case mini Copperhead in amber bone. It's been a lot more faithful to me than I have to it, but it has been my favorite since I first got it several years ago. A little bigger picture:

Thanks for the give away; it would be an honor to carry and use your knife.

Not an entry, but congrats for the GAW and the opportunity to discover member's favorites!

Sweet gaw, I'm in! It's a pattern that I havn't tried out yet, I've lurked in more than a few stockman/multi bladed traditional threads trying to figure these patterns out.

I pretty much have settled into having either one of these little guys on me a out 5 days a week. I'm a little less rigid on the weekends sometimes and will pocket either of these guys and a modern.

I came very one to picking up a Case or Buck 303 to tryout but I havn't gotten around to it.

I'm in, thanks for the giveaway. I have a few knives i like but my favorite has to be my Sowbelly. It's a new knife and I haven't been able to bring myself to use it!

Not an entry.

I was waffling because I don't have any recent experience with the stockman pattern (haven't had one since I was 11), but I just don't think it would get real pocket time from me. It seems like such a nice knife, and it just calls out to be used, that it feels like it would be wrong for it to land in my safe.

But here is a picture of my favorite right now. I'm sure my serpentine 2015 forum knife will eventually reclaim favorite status, but the Beer Scout that I won in Wurrwulf's GAW has just been too wonderful not to carry all the time.

Well, enter to try it out. If it's not for you, do a give away.

It's not perfect. It's got nicks in the bolster, springs ain't square. There is a small gap in the back spring. The sheepsfoot has a little wobble.
But, it's got some beautiful bone covers that have aged well since I bought it.
Sounds perfect to me! Thanks for the wonderful GAW, Woodrow. It is hard to pick a favorite but this 79 is the one that kind of started me on the traditional path.

I'm in. I don't know if I have a favorite, but here's what I'm carrying. A Big Chris fixed blade, used to be something else but after I worked on the handle I'd call it a caper; and a Victorinox Waiter.
