Not an entry, but this is a fine GAW, and a very fine knife. Whatever amending you feel needed to do, I think this makes you square.

Not an entry.
I was waffling because I don't have any recent experience with the stockman pattern (haven't had one since I was 11), but I just don't think it would get real pocket time from me. It seems like such a nice knife, and it just calls out to be used, that it feels like it would be wrong for it to land in my safe.
But here is a picture of my favorite right now. I'm sure my serpentine 2015 forum knife will eventually reclaim favorite status, but the Beer Scout that I won in Wurrwulf's GAW has just been too wonderful not to carry all the time.

Sounds perfect to me! Thanks for the wonderful GAW, Woodrow. It is hard to pick a favorite but this 79 is the one that kind of started me on the traditional path. It's not perfect. It's got nicks in the bolster, springs ain't square. There is a small gap in the back spring. The sheepsfoot has a little wobble.
But, it's got some beautiful bone covers that have aged well since I bought it.
Well, enter to try it out. If it's not for you, do a give away.
All right, twist my arm, I'm in![]()
