That said, I picked up a Cold Steel Cutlass a few years ago for funsies.
Wife thought I was crazy, but when a hurricane blew our roofing off and we had to poke holes in the ceiling sheetrock to let the water out of the attic so the roof wouldn't collapse it came in handy.
I am a fan of the Khyber Bowie knife. I bought one when they first came out, not because of the knife, sheath, the association with Indiana Jones or the movie; but, because I so enjoyed the marketing blurb on the side of the box. It made me realize that I had no idea what a proper khyber knife looked like. I was familiar with the name from reading the history of British colonial wars, but none of those had provided an image or illustration of the knife and the internet as we know it didn’t exist back then.Yup, the Khyber Bowie.
