In Progress Pics - CC Knives, Ti Backpackers and more!

I hear you, who is MC2 by the way? sounds good...

MC2 is chicagoscrews.com which caters to the bookbinding industry. I use their steel slotted posts and phillips drive screws in black oxide, but they've got stainless and lots of colors of anodized aluminum as well. Some guys making holsters front like those will fail before a steel rivet- so they make a big deal out of using the steel ones as if the Kydex won't fail long before either of the fasteners. I use the steel mostly since I like to add layers, and use .125" thick sheet for belt loops. I'm pretty sure knifekits gets theirs from MC2. Index Fasteners is another place to check out- they've added eyelets and chicago screws along with kydex itself, just because an employee noticed the holster guys had taken notice of them.

I'm salivating over whatever you put up next. Hopefully the postal slugs show up with my KCTs and CC knife this morning- I'm pimping a cool battle belt I just finished for my buddy who bought one of the KCTs I ordered, and I want to show off my bounty o' Fairly goodness.

Great stuff there on the Chicago screws. I have moved to getting a lot of material direct or in bulk from he manufacturer.

You know what would be cool, Ti Chicago screws! I wonder if anyone makes them...

I hope your gear comes in soon, it should be there quickly.

Belt.. cool! I have a belt blank I am going to finish for fun but might make some stamps first. I want to get some tool steel rod and file/heat treat them out.

Today I am working on a few projects. I was hoping to finish the CC Knives yesterday as they only need stropping.., maybe today! I have some more custom orders I am trying to finish up too. I have the A2 one I started yesterday but might work on some ultra thin 15n20 dashis too so I can get them in the kiln.
