I hear you, who is MC2 by the way? sounds good...
MC2 is chicagoscrews.com which caters to the bookbinding industry. I use their steel slotted posts and phillips drive screws in black oxide, but they've got stainless and lots of colors of anodized aluminum as well. Some guys making holsters front like those will fail before a steel rivet- so they make a big deal out of using the steel ones as if the Kydex won't fail long before either of the fasteners. I use the steel mostly since I like to add layers, and use .125" thick sheet for belt loops. I'm pretty sure knifekits gets theirs from MC2. Index Fasteners is another place to check out- they've added eyelets and chicago screws along with kydex itself, just because an employee noticed the holster guys had taken notice of them.
I'm salivating over whatever you put up next. Hopefully the postal slugs show up with my KCTs and CC knife this morning- I'm pimping a cool battle belt I just finished for my buddy who bought one of the KCTs I ordered, and I want to show off my bounty o' Fairly goodness.
