In real life steel that closest to Adamantium?

The closest to Adamantium would have to be vibranium, but for copyright reasons you just have to say that vibranium is the strongest metal in the known universe. The next closest would have to be carbonadium, then the organic steel that Colossus can turn into.

Whatever the smatchet is made out of I'd say.

In the back of comic books, you can find slabs for sale.

Yeah, but you gotta save up a butt-load of Bazooka Joe comics to get it.

I don't know why Adam Ant got a whole metal named after him in the first place. Hey, when "Goody Two Shoes" came out back when I was in high school, it was a good dance tune and all... but maybe he was in on the formula or something.

Mysteries of the universe. They never cease.

Of all the fictitious metals in the Marvel Universe , I'd take "True Adamantium" as there are a few different variations of the virtually indestructible alloy.

But in this universe , I've been very happy with S30V and D2. I'm able to get these steels super sharp like a pocket lightsaber (oops , wrong universe). I still have yet to try steels like M390 , 20CV or S110V.

Why the man of steel of course. Superman. And he's faster than a speeding bullet and can leap tall buildings in a single bound,

SR-101, it has Kryptonite in it :)

In serious though, 3V or M4 for toughness, REX 121 or CPM-10V for hardness and edge retention.
