In Search of a SOCFK Spearpoint/Questions....

OK guys, now I am really confused. I just called Extreme Outfitters to order a SOCFK Spearpoint. The guy who took my call said they are not made in spearpoint, just tanto. I explained that they are made in spearpoint, I've seen them and they are on the EKI website. He pretty much told me that if I wanted them to order one, it would have to be tanto. SO I called EKI and the lady was not sure what I was talking about, then said they had some SOCFK blades that were just cut but had to be finished and logo'd and all and might be available within the next 6 months, but she was not sure if it was tanto or spearpoint-she thought tanto. What gives? Is the spearpoint version super-rare or something? I wanted to pick one up as a user to complement my tanto one. Anyone know of someone else to talk to over at Extreme Outfitters? I can understand if they are backordered, but I'd at least like to get on the list to get one when they come in. Does anyone have a suggestion or have seen one for sale or want to unload one?
Any help would be appreciated.

They were made in both tanto and spear point. You must talk with Steve at Extreme Outfitters. He runs the show and knows what is available and what is not. Dick

I got my tanto point about two weeks ago. When I emailed them to see what they had left, they said all they had were the tantos, no spearpoints. I did not ask whether any more were coming in though. Send them an email with your specific questions. They were very helpful with me by email. I don't have access to my personal email right now, so I con't tell you who they were.

If I remember correctly there was a somewhat limited run of spearpoints made when the SOCFK first came out, over a year ago. I don't know, but I suppose that it was per request Extreme Outfitters. I guess they thought the Tanto would sell better.
As far as I know, the model wasn't discontinuted, just made in a smaller quantity than the tanto.
 
I knew they were out there, but it just amazed me that the guy this morning said that they don't exist. I almost gave him the website address and told him to check it out, but I couldn't without sounding like an a$$hole.
I placed a "WTB" in the appropriate section. And as always, if someone has one laying around, feel free to offer it to me! I could pony up a trade or cold hard cash.
