I think what will probably happen, is a cheap Byrd or other serrated knife with a Salt in there somewhere - I will admit that my limited experience on the water has resulted lately in me being on the bow of smaller craft dealing with minor emergencies (none of my making) I find that you have to deal with a lot of other people's issues on the water, and since I have been out, I find myself the only one properly equipped with a knife. My attitude has always been to not leave it up to others to be prepared, so I always bring my own safety gear and tools. I had been taking a leatherman charge, but find it bulky and have largely confined it to the bag for use as a tool. Lately duty has been performed by a SAK Farmer and a mini grip part serrated blade or Native. I think, what I might settle on is a OHT and some sort of rescue serrated blade. I will probably put a float on the rescue style blade. In the more distant future, as I have more money, a Salt I or Saver Salt with a Benchmade H2O will probably be my loadout.
