Incredible Weather Pic

Just got the scoop. It's a photochop, but the original is just like photo minus the oil rig and was taken in 1993 on the coast of FL, and it's a waterspout which would explain the lack of debris:

I was just about to post the same thing. One thing you learn or should learn is to take with a grain of salt anything you see on the internet. If it comes by e-mail, take it with a pound of salt. Here's the link to Snopes.

Does anyone remember the pictures of weather cells that went around the internet a couple of years ago? Same thing. Real pictures with bogus stories.

The oil rig just gets in the way of the amazing original pic, actually...

Brian, thanks for taking the time to look that up! JDLR -Just Don't Look Right (acronym from my casino surveillance days) is what came to mind when I first saw that. Cool original pic though!:D -Matt-

Sorry, dude, but that is a photoshop job. I've seen that same picture before, with the tornado and lighting. It's been photoshopped into the background of that station.

Edit: Guess I should have read a bit more. Seems others have pointed that out already. That's what I get for jumping the gun.
