Price as listed is the cost to your door (TYD). These are cross-listed and time stamps will be used to determine buyer order.

Terms and conditions: Please post an "I'll take it" message to the thread, followed with a Private Message. If you don't have PM privileges, please post your e-mail address in the thread (and delete your e-mail after I respond.) Please don't post an "I'll take it" unless you unequivocally agree to the terms of sale noted in this post. Attempt at payment must be made in good faith within 24 hours of claiming an item or I will move on to next buyer. Prices listed are the cost to your door via UPS Ground. I will pay for signature delivery at your request. Extra insurance also available if you will cover the charges. PayPal or Venmo only. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY SALE FOR ANY REASON.

Contiguous 48 US states buyers preferred, Alaska, Hawaii, and International buyers considered. If you live outside of the lower 48 US states and would like to buy a knife, please contact me directly before posting an "I'll take it."

1. Busse Combat SARsquatch and SAR 3 w/Modular Chuddy Bear Sheaths
$1,050 TYD
So much to say about this set--and yes please do consider it a set, as I would not break these up unless I were to get a great offer to do so. First of all, both blades are obviously made from INFI. The 'Squatch has been reground by Josh of Razor Edge Knives. I do not know all of the particulars, such as edge angles, etc., as I was not the owner when it went to REK, bought this from a most excellent seller and BF member who might have some notes on this (@PeteyTwoPointOne?*) but you can see that it is sterile and has had the tube fasteners replaced with removable bolts to allow for disassembly and cleaning. What you can't see from the picture is how sharp this is--bar none the sharpest knife of the hundreds that I've owned in my lifetime. Scary sharp. Seriously, don't drop it because you will lose a toe. It hasn't been used since the custom work was done, but has a single teeny, tiny spot of discoloration near the swedge on the show side. Otherwise it's in ace shape. Thickness measures 0.17" on my calipers. The handle slabs look to be black linen micarta (edit: according to the last sale thread for this knife, they are canvas, not linen, but the fibers look super tight for canvas as you can see for yourself!) Awesome feel and great pattern.

The SAR 3 (pretty sure it's an LE, but not 100% sure it isn't an SE) is factory satin with black paper micarta scales. It's in great shape, but does look like it may have been sharpened (quite well, if so!); otherwise I would have thought it was unused. 0.15" stock thickness on my calipers. Can be carried as a piggyback on the 'Squatch's dangler, or separately by itself.

The sheath is leather from Chuddy Bear and as mentioned above, the SAR 3 can go piggyback or solo, while the main rig has a couple extra kicks that are perfect for survival gear. My Scorpion Streamlight fits perfectly into either side, for example. Despite some very minor handling wear, this rig is in excellent condition! I don't know where Chuddy is, or what he's doing (hopefully he's well) but I do know that he doesn't take orders anymore, and I've never seen another rig just like this. If this isn't a one-of-a-kind setup, it's certainly incredibly rare!

*Edited to add: I found the sale thread that I bought the 'Squatch in. You can view it by clicking here. P2.1 mentions some of the mods and other details:
  • Reground & Satinized <600 grit> by Josh of REK
  • Atom-splitting, scary sharp convex edge
  • UNUSED besides testing with copy paper since optimization
  • Black canvas Micarta handles were sandblasted clean and fresh
  • Flared tubes drilled out by Josh & replaced with stainless Torx to make handles removable
Also worth mentioning that I purchased the blade with Mashed Cat kydex sheath for $800 (have since moved that kydex sheath along) and I have about another $450 into the sheath and SAR 3. My loss is your gain...

2. Busse Combat HG55 LE
$550 TYD (SOLD)
Another one that I would normally never list... Also acquired via a great friend and forum member, this sexy beast is made of INFI, has a stock thickness of 0.24" on my calipers and boasts a beautiful mirror-polished finished. I've never been able to figure out if the scales are tan or tiger hide--they look to have the black inflections and orangey hue of tiger hide, but the black is not as pronounced as in other examples I have seen. Either way the coffin-like handle looks and feels great. In excellent condition--has some just a few very light surface marks on the finish--I am not able to capture any flaws on my phone camera. Also comes with a Mosher custom leather sheath.

I'll take the HG55
Thank you. I did receive a PM from an international buyer a few minutes before your post. Let me follow through there and see what happens--I want to give him a chance since he contacted me first, but if he declines then you've got next!

Edit: HG55 is SOLD to Dangerneck, thank you!

I found the original sale thread for the SARsquatch and posted some more info about the mods in the OP...

Listing is for at least $200 less than what I am into the whole rig for. ;)
