I scored this at an auction over the weekend for $60. I've been wanting to get into liner locks for some time and have been collecting tools. it is missing the backjaw ($15 on msc) and only had the smaller of 2 collets, so unless i get the larger one ($67) I can't do up to 1/4". I think for liner locks, I'll be good as is. I went looking for a second heat treat oven for me and a second hardness tester to perhaps sell to another maker. Both items went close to retail so I passed. I did score on a lot of 10 3x80" cubitron 2 60 grit belts for $10. ( I was the only bidder )

first time I've ever been to a tool auction. A guy could get in a lot of trouble there. I missed out on a degaussing machine. I've wanted one for a while to demagnetize finished knives. oh well.

I paid $100 on eBay for my chinese 0-.25 one and was happy with that.

Fwiw, you can easily make degaussing machine. I made one years ago from a scrapped TV coil & cigarbox.

No, this was used and the only one that seller had for sale.

You can run the 3X80 belts on your 2X72. It works well with a large contact wheel.

Yep. I will most likely us them in my SGA, since I built it to use 3" wide belts.
