Industrial sized forging videos

I ran across these three videos on youtube showing some very large forging going on. The software they were using is pretty amazing. They do not have any sound and some narration would be helpful but it's still very cool.

I used to work in a forge shop that did this type of work. We would start with ingots of 35" square and work them down to 11" x 13" bars. Those would then be forged down further on smaller presses or sent to our rolling mills to be turned into rounds. It's pretty neat to watch hot steel move that quickly under pressure.

Very cool links.... And I thought the big Maxi presses (2000T) I used to work on were large! Those are a little bit bigger in the videos. Thanks for posting that!

I fiqured us forgers would get a kick out of seeing it. It looks like they are forging a tank gun barrel on the first one.
