Inexpensive factory knives that cut and slice well....

Ill try to get Opinel filet knife but Have already few Victorinox and Wenger paring knives, those things slice like crazy and hold decent edge, but I don't want cardboard sheat and to carry fixed blade in pocket! Victorinox swiss army knives slice well too, especially large locking blades, but am looking for Spyderco filet knife, in H2 steel ,do not know name of model but its thin and should slice really well!

Catcherman in H1? Could have just asked that at the beginning instead of having us run in circles. The Catchetman is discontinued, BTW, if that is the one you are thinking of.

Opinels, of course, but this only took me 10-15 minutes on a $5 Norton combo stone today. The wide flat beveled areas are the new primary (ground flat to the stone,) then a 15 dps edge bevel that's hard to see in the pic.

My brother asked me to sharpen it :D

I have a couple o Opinel paring knives. They are really good slicers. My friend uses a Victorinox paring knife. The only thing that out slices them is one of those ceramic knives. I have a couple of larger Green River knives that slice really well. These knives set just north and south of a Hamilton each.

Always looking for alternatives;)....At the end Ill have to get one custom folder, and a custom bowie.thanx guys for replies!

I like buck 110,its just too heavy, and wish it had wider blade of same thickness.Absolutely love the high hollow grind.
