where are you guys finding 'inexpensive' Gayle Bradley folders?
LMAO. What's 'import' have to do with it. And what's 'not stainless' have to do with it?Way overpriced for an import that's not even stainless.
Gerber used to offer the Gator in ATS-34. That was a good deal IMO. If you look for one, make sure of the Steel before you buy it!
Some people still prefer to buy American whenever possible. Apparently you are not one of them. But I think you already knew exactly what I meant. So go ahead and argue how Taiwanese manufacture is just as good as American. I don't care.LMAO. What's 'import' have to do with it.
Most super steels are stainless. Again you know exactly what I meant but instead of just letting me post my opinion then posting your own separate opinion, you chose to argue in a negative way. Happy now?And what's 'not stainless' have to do with it?![]()
Most super steels are stainless.
"Super" is a matter of performance to most folks. CPM M4 holds an edge like few other alloys, stainless or non-stainless.
But, I agree that the Gayle Bradley is not in the price range that most folks would call "inexpensive".
What he said.Buck Vantage Pro
Maybe some Americans do. I'm not American (sad to say). For me, they're all imports. Some people still prefer to buy American whenever possible.
That wasn't my point at all (although I have yet to see ANY massproduced knife beat the GB on quality and F&F). I was just wondering why a Taiwanese-made knife couldn't be expensive.go ahead and argue how Taiwanese manufacture is just as good as American. I don't care.
Me negative? I only asked questions. You are negative by dismissing a fantastically-made knife with just about unsurpassed steel because it's not made in America. Most super steels are stainless. Again you know exactly what I meant but instead of just letting me post my opinion then posting your own separate opinion, you chose to argue in a negative way. Happy now?
I don't hate Spyderco, Gayle Bradley, M4, Taiwan, $140 knives, nor do I hate Philwar. I'll try to extract the wadded panties before I go all Fukushima. I can feel the disappointment of several pirates.
Don't hold your breath on that one. The costs of importing, heat treating, and grinding will keep it on the premium shelf for years to come.I am really liking M390. I am hoping it will become popular enough to be used in inexpensive knife soon.
