Looking for an inexpensive law ninja looking big scary knife to give my brother in law for Xmas. He just wants something really cool to open up his ups packages with and stuff. Just one of hose for the looks scary guys, big scary and mall ninja

CS Spartan.... Or CS anything in the Large/ XL line...

OR just look at some Tac-Force stuff on eBay, but don't spend more than $15 on them.

You can get a very functional knife that will look cool, and still not be crap. Cold Steel has already been mentioned.

That could be true of all knives, Judgey McJudgerson.
Just about every Spyderco, Boker, Benchmade, Hogue, Emerson, and practically the rest are bought by a very similar cross-section of society; the truth of this assertion is proven by how vociferously they'll deny it, attributing some odd trait to the "others."

"Sebenzas are just the best quality."
"Emerson's are used by Special Forces."
"Swiss Army Knives are used by MacGyver."
"Kershaw makes knives for The People."

Oh yeah, and the answer is Mantis.
Whenever a cheap Mall Ninja knife is requested, the answer is ALWAYS Mantis. ;)
 
I have a Boker Plus folding tanto and I actually like it for a cheap knife. 440c steel and it holds a good edge...and it ticks the mall ninja box too :)
