Inexpensive OAL of 6" Knife for Son

Got ambitious and made the sheath too. It`s shipping this afternoon, that way your son can have it this weekend.

Alright folks, let’s give John a round of applause

Folks like you make this place what it is.

Class act John. Putting a smile on yet another kid's face.

Really nice first blade!! Very nice of you Stomper, mucho respect buddy.
Even better that the handle will still fit when he grows up.

BTW the brusletto balder is a great little whittler, really strong point for drilling and shaving spoons. I think they call them chip knives in Norway. Made for 3 finger grip without chafing so kid size hand would fill.

Get him a knife with a handle, not a neck knife.
EDIT: oops, I didn't see you already got it! That is an excellent knife for anyone, and for a kid too. Great!

Ya ive held one actually at a local pawn shop...some guy turned in his whole brusletto collection (something around 20-30 knives still in presentation boxes)...bro in law cleaned him out and i got a Nansen. That i traded to one of the posters in this thread :D . At the time i didnt need that small of a knife and it would have worked well IMO for my son. But i mean, come on, he is getting a JK now!!

So maybe dad will get a balder someday for a neck knife for himself ;)

wow that was a very inspiring thing you did stomper...so much so that ive decided my daughters 1st knife will b from you. Shes a daddys girl (by default not choice haha..its just the 2 of us) and helps me on the farm and any other projects we have goin on and so i have a feeling shell be a knife lover just like dad as well. when the time comes ill be calling you!

Have a box sitting in my office as I type from Mr Kiedaisch! Temptation to open it is bout to get the best of me..but it is my son's...he will have the pleasure of opening this one! Thank you again John!
