Inexpensive Traditional Knives

I actually really really like my smaller Douk-Douk, they are around ~$20 it's got a cool retro look, sharp blade, small and lightweight and don't mind abusing it for everyday tasks, conversation starter too as are unique

Knives tend to be about double US prices here, so you won't find much for under $20 new, but I find lots of great used vintage knives for under that

A friend picked this up at an estate sale and gave it to me. My memory is poor, but I think he paid $15, or something like that. I love carrying and using it.

Already stated by Jackknife but the Opinel and Case Sodbuster are two of the quintessential knives. Or perhaps the Camillus TL-29.

I picked these up for less than 20 bucks at auction. I usually have at least one or two of them with me or in my truck. You gotta have em'

Opinel of course, they are really unexpensive here.
In matter of traditional US, I won an auction at $23 for a Kutmaster. Great value for money (even with the $8 for shipping, but that does not count).
It is one of my most used knife and I don't mind the (little) gaps here and there or the non centered blades and even the lateral movement of the spey is not an issue. I keep it!

Camillus, Ulster & Utica Kutmaster traditionals can be found on that world famous auction site all day long for under $20. All made in USA and all excellent users. Don't expect a pristine example for that price but with a little clean up you can have yourself a dependable EDC.

My $12 Rough Rider is really well made and razor sharp. It is in some cases better then the more expensive knives in my collection,

The Schrades were all 15$-25$. 25$ was for the serrated 8OT. The Imperial was a buck.

....goes to Amazon and orders this exact knife. Should be here in two days. hahaha. What uses do you find for the razor style blade besides shaving?

Ok guys. We get it. You like USA made knives. Back on topic, please.

I got this Ulster Stockman for $2. I'm not one of those nice guys on this forum who might tell you where the shop is.

It's not a shaving knife or razor. The tip of the blade was designed long ago for those who only had one arm. Simply use the tip to catch the edge of your pocket and the knife opens. So I guess you can say the knife is a very old design of one hand opening.
