I have a few inexpensive users that have sat in a box for a while, and I may as well put them out there and see if anyone is interested in something they haven't tried yet.
CRKT large Natural: NIB, bone scales, micarta bolsters, no LAWKS. I'm looking specifically for the CRKT folding Razel, with large one the dark micarta scales; I'm also interested in a CRKT Carson M4-02, or the CRKT folding stibby Razel too. Preferably new, but a user is fine as long as it's not abused. (I'm open to other knives as well, plain edge only unless it's a Spyderco, but I really want a folding Razel or an M4.)
Boker #BO112 Small Armed Forces: tanto point. Used, a little beat up, but overall in good shape.
MTech #MT-1221T: NIB, MTech's version of a Cold Steel Ti-Lite. All stainless construction, rainbow anodized finish overall. I think I got this in a trade, but I've never opened it; as a matter of fact, today is only the second time I've opened the box in a couple of years.
Cold Steel Ti-Lite VI: used, with factory edge still intact, but could probably use a good sharpening. Too long for me to use for anything other than as a grill knife.
Cold Steel Pocket Bushman: used, in great shape, factory edge needs sharpening. Really cool interpretation on the Douk-Douk on steroids.
Smith & Wessons: this brand got me back into knives back in 2004-2005. Some people criticize them, but for me, they allowed me to refine my likes & dislikes without breaking the bank. Since these aren't being used, I'll pass them on to someone who's interested, for the right trade.
Smith & Wesson #SWFL2 "HRT": Used, no box. All stainless, plain-edged framelock, similar to the Camillus CUDA-EDC, designed by D. Ralph. Okay knife to throw in the toolbox as a beater. Pocket clip, no sheath.
Smith & Wesson #CK5 "S.W.A.T. II": a funny-looking little chunky knife that was a freebie. I absolutely hated the grip until I figured out that if you hold it like a caping knife, it works extremely well for detailed cutting. Pocket clip, no sheath.
Smith & Wesson #CK46BT "Extreme Ops": a "stupid-big-mall-ninja-special", that looks very much like something from Extrema Ratio. It weighs a few ounces short of a ton. The blade is 3/16" thick, and has a tanto point. No pocket clip, comes with a nylon sheath. (It would probably dissolve in the rain.) A friend at a retail outlet here gave me a great deal on this one, and I bought it to modify it. Never got around to it. This thing really belongs in a toolbox or bugout bag.
The Boker small Armed Forces is missing from this pic, I can email pics if needed.
Knives I'm interested in: the Kabar Dozier lightweight folders (preferably orange), Boker large Armed Forces, orange RAT 1 plain edge, Spyderco Ambitous/Persistence/Resilience, SOG Powerlock, Leatherman Wave, Cold Steel Voyagers, Buck Vantage, Victorinox or Wenger SAK's,
Gear I'm interested in: 1980's-era Buck 119 sheath, Kabar sheath for standard large combat/utility knife, leather or kydex, good compasses, watches, knife storage cases (ie: Kershaw Z997 knife bag) & knife wraps (for slipjoints)
I'll have a gear trade thread as well, that I'll link to shortly.
You can email me through my profile.
