I sent my twin INFI Autos that Reese Weiland made for me from a FFFBM to Fred Harrington and he did this beautiful engraving on the Bolsters. Fred brought the knives to Blade where I picked them up. I just put a light coat of oil on the blades. The handles are Mammoth Ivory and the knives use Titanium Liners. :D

THose were a pleasure to hold. Really incredible!

thanks for sharing and inspiring us Ron:thumbup:

super sweet. I really need to find an absolutely mangled piece of infi cheap to make one.

Pretty much only one thing to say ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Superlative job,,,,,they turned out absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:....... just like most of yer blades !!!!!!!!

Very Cool.

I had a chance to hold the big one, what a tank.

I too was lucky enough to get to hold them. The small one (if thats what you want to call it) was cool but that biggun was unfreakinbelievable. You really have to see them in person to get the full effect of how awesome they are.

Thanks again for sharing them Ron!!!:cool:

OK, I've sulked enough about not getting to go to Blade, but I am VERY sorry I missed seeing these! Truly a beautiful pair, and those mammoth scales are breathtaking with the engraved bolsters. Very, very beautiful!

from a FFFBM all you got were those two blades? I thought that big of a knife might have more to it. The only parts of the folders that are infi are the blades? How thick is each one? They are gorgeous! Lots of mind thought and planning went into these, nothing but the best materials. I had thoughts of having a folder or two made....

WOW...they look even better than the last pictures I saw! Huge props to you for owning something so beautiful.

I don't know much about working with steel, but wouldn't it pretty difficult to cut out a blade out of material that has already been hardened? You can't tell at all that the blades have been scavenged though; they look like they were originally made to be that shape.

These autos are pretty big, look at the spine shots. You can't use any of the handle material only the blade because of holes in the handle area. I can put you in touch with someone that is an expert in building folders!

If you have the right equipment you can pretty much do anything! I was there in his shop when he built both of these. It was absolutely amazing to watch and learn!!!

I don't know how I missed seeing them . Those are AWESOME !!! It seems like I heard about them . Man it was crazy . I miss everyone already .

Both beautiful looking knives. That big one looks like a lot of folding knife

How does it compare to a strider AR for size, weight and dimensions?

Just trying to get an idea of the size.
