a collaboration with spyderco for a sprint run infi para-military 2 with carbon fiber handles would be nice.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. ZT would be a good fit for a folder collab. Let's not go with INFI though. The blade could be a scaled down CBT hellraiser or something similar.

The INFI Folder will live on its own from the creative mind of Boss HOG. I dunno when, but when it does...LOOK OUT!:thumbup::thumbup:

When the Bossman throws these on the street I would like to see them in ELMAX...;)

Collab between Busse and Spyderco won't happen unless one of them reverses its warranty policy. If you accidentally break or damage a Busse, they will repair or replace the knife for free or refund the original value no matter how the damage occurred. If you damage or break a Spyderco, they will not repair it period--even for a fee--unless failure was caused by an apparent manufacturing defect.

Busse is way too awesome to taint its Bloodline with Spyderco....Sorry Spyderfans but I dont even want them to collaborate with Benchmade, and they would be a much better fit IMHO...and hopefully Jerry will make them in Infi and Elmax models...

Spyderco makes some excellent knives, but their warranty is the weakest in the business where Busse's is the strongest. Just a different business model and philosophy.

I know that any Busse folder will be accompanied by a strong warranty. However, any reasonable person knows that a folder by its very nature is weaker than a well-made fixed blade.

I think that to expect that a Busse folder would have the same warranty as a Busse fixed blade is unrealistic. (Yes, I know that it would be a lot better than Spyderco's.) Now Jerry may do the unrealistic with his folder, I don't know. However, I for one would gladly accept a lesser warranty in order to have a Busse folder.

I would have agreed with that perspective completely a couple of years ago and still do to some extent. But since the advent of the very thin Elmax blade knives it seems to me that Busse has been doing the unconditional warranty thing long enough that they have a feel for the real-world benefit-to-risk ratios and have found the warranty is viable as a marketing tool even on knives that, obviously, are not bullet-proof. I've broken blades on Buck and Case folders in the past and sent them in for repair with no charge to me. Only difference would be that neither of those manufacturers touts an "unconditional" warranty where Busse does and puts it in writing. So it may be that as a business calculation, the added sales benefit of an unconditional warranty outweighs the cost of warranty work to the company.

Just my opinion but ZT seems like a better match for collaboration. Their knife are built tougher than Spyderco knifes. Also I really like their larger folders. I am very fond of flippers it would be nice to see an infi flipper there are plenty of Elmax choices out there.

You mean to tell me none of you guys scored on the email only INFIsible folder! :D It was totally awesome until I set it down, now I can't find it! :o

I guess I should have cerakoted it first. ;)

Isn't infi made for impact? I prefer my folders to have a very thin edge.
When I want to beat on things, I'd want a fixed haha.

But who knows, I'd probably get one just to get one.
