infi folder?

I will not buy another folder... My next one will be a Busse folder, with an infi blade.

OK--let's see if that positive thinking cr@p works...

Please work... Please...

I'll sell you mine.
Ah, so generous...
Sweet, I have some limited edition INFIsible buck$ to send as payment! :p

Mine is real bro, didn't Buy Brown tell you about it?
Yes he did...
No, you won't. Wasn't that your deal with Jerry?

along with this tidbit. ;) That's why I jokingly offered to pay with "INFIsible buck$" (hint: read the quoted phrase out loud phonetically if you missed it) I should post a picture of a rat trap just for spite!

Sorry, no pics of that knife were permitted.

But.. if you use your Google skills, you could find the patent Jerry got on the locking mechanism. OTOH, there is no reason to believe that those drawings accurately represent the actual knife.

Actually, I have pics. And I have copies of all the patent documents somewhere around here. The patented design is much different than the knives that a few uber-hogs actually received.

If the final product is anything like the version he let us "fondle" at Blade it will be glorious! Jerry said the the locking mechanism alone had over 90 versions/changes while coming up with the one on the folder he let us handle. I was so giddy in the realization that there was a folder in existence and coming to market that I didn't think to ask if it would be Infi...rookie mistake!

Kind of sort of been done. The Rat Trap was a dead on mix of the Spyderco Military and the Busse Active Duty. If Busse did not produce the Rat Trap themselves it would not surprise me at all to find out Spyderco was contracted to make it.

So did a few actually get one? Not quite following after reading several times. I know one was shown at blade from what I hear, but did a limited number go out to some?

I'd love to see Jerry and Mick work together to bring us an INFI folder...

Same rock solid warranties, and both build knives as tough as is possible. Seems like a perfect match to me

Not Spyderco. IIRC, it was made by BladeTech.
