INFI = Game Over!

Chiming in a little late, but I figured I would... as we've discussed this a bit already via PM's--My Beckers are v. good, but I love my Busse. As far as fixed blades go, I'll never need to buy another... anything I need to do I can handle with either my TGLB or with a folder (which at this point has become either an Emerson, a GEC, or a Buck 110). For heavier chopping (which I don't do much of) I'd turn to a hatchet, etc.

Now... with that said, should there be a Busse folder w/ infi... well, how can a knife-nut not have one of those! Sign me up, take my money... please.

Thanks, Anthony!^
I think the Busse folder will sell quite well.
Part of my rational was to just eventually own a "few" knives. We are trying to simplify our lives here.

Curious would the handles on a folder by INFI as well as the blade? Would it have a thumb stud be a flipper?

So many possiblities on how a busse folder could look and in my head they just keep looking better and better:)

Agreed Rolf, simplicity. I want to use the knives I have and I've been around the proverbial block enough times now to know what I like for the long haul and what is just a fad (for me).

As for a Busse folder, and the possibilities... Yes, they are glorious... But simplicity here too would go a long way; a clever cross between an Emerson and a Strider would hit the spot for me; I'd prefer it on the larger side overall, but without an overly thick blade. A good slicer, and my personal favorite--a clip point. Yeah, take my money... Please.

Yeah, I find INFI sharpens like a dream! You can strop it, ceramic stone it, sand paper or steel it, and it gets razor sharp faster than anything else I have. Holds an edge for a looooooooong time.
I also really like S35VN - Sharpens very easily and holds an edge pretty darn well. Generally only needs a little touchup to stay scary sharp.

I'm with Rolf, right now there ain't nothin' I want more than an INFI folder!!!!!!! :D :thumbup: :thumbup:

If you BRING IT, I will BUY TWO!!!! (or three, okay maybe four or five, but less than ten!) :D

Thanks, guys.
Yes... in time, we learn what works for us. The time-thing may vary though. :D Thanks, Anthony.
evltcat- Ditto on the sharpening of the INFI. That can't be beat.
Jerry knows that the Busse folder has to Nuc proof but Jerry can do this! Right, Jerry?
