INFI Ring??

I have a tungsten wedding band, and it does not have a scratch on it. I've had it for a couple years. It is tough but the reason you don't see knife makers use it ever is because it is very brittle. The jeweler said if I drop my ring on a hard surface it could shatter. Worth the risk to me and it was a lot cheaper than platinum.

Shatter, huh? so you cant saw thru it but you could break it with a small chisel....i guess that is why its not a good knife steel.... i should always remember that if i though of something, its prob not original and has been ruled out or figured out already... :p

My buddy dropped his within hours of the ceremony and it shattered. Then he did it again on another occasion.
I steered away from the Tungsten or Titanium styles because I didn't like the weight. An 8mm wide platinum for a size 15 sausage nub was out of the question ($$$) so I just went practical, Xen Stainless... Best Buck Eighty I ever spent:D

I have a tungsten ring (my wedding ring is platinum) and it is incredibly tough. Looks like the day I received it, and I wear it every day. It's almost strange how hard it is, literally not a scratch.

I know one guy who, instead of a wedding band, has a tattoo of a wedding band with his wife's name inside of it. She did the same thing, but with his name.

It's a novel approach.

this is a big thing in the military and the gay community (independant of each other, ;))
wedding rings get caught when fast roping, parachuting, and other misc shit. and in most states since gays cant get married, its their act of rebelion.

Don't forget tooling that can cut steel at high speeds is made out of WC. But some infi dodads would be sick

Told my current wife we couldn't get married until our rings came from Jerry and Co. Got married w/o it in '03. Think there were issues with machining such small item and then proper finish to last a lifetime. I was willing to wait but the wife wasn't. Kept telling her "2 weeks";)
