Just arrived today! I must be a lucky piglet getting LE#1

The top tip of one of the bits caught a piece of fabric and rang for a few seconds so I tapped both tips on the granite counter and it rang for a good 10-15 seconds

Yeah, mine rings quite nicely as well. The single bit doesn't last, the double bit just keeps singing.

TBH, my Rattlehawk scares me more. It's sharp ALL OVER, at least this is only the 2 main edges.

For sure. I've only used a double bit axe two or three times and pretty sure I got bit each time. I got these for wall decorations though. And actually, the heads are so heavy (the center of gravity is at the first barrel fastener by the head) they make good PT devices for my shoulder. I can tell myself it was a medicinal purchase
