A question I'm sure many will have: are those handles oiled or just dark?

I can't speak for this knife but I've seen tan micarta colors vary some times from dark like these to very light with hints of black threads. It could be just the scotch and tequila hasn't dried completely from the manufacturing process.

I didn't oil them. I was thinking maybe they soaked some oil up from the blade??
