Info card Sets

Sad thing is just about everything on these cards is something we all already know and teach to others here on the forums. It's pretty basic info. So, most folks are not getting anything "profound" but it does put it into a neat package as a reference, and it took a while to put it all together on a plastic card :) Where I see these being really good is for youngsters just getting into the nav or survival game.

I think these are really cool because I know from my own experiences that you can have a wealth of knowledge, but remembering under severe stress... while dehydrated, malnourished, sleep deprived, injured and disoriented...can be a b!tc#, any of the above can make clear thought a real challenge. Definitely will be picking up a couple of sets soon.

And you can throw them in your spare time and stick them in trees!

Now that right there is a big plus

.

i have a SASE, will they fit in my SASE? i want to make sure they fit! it's important! that way they won't stick into trees or toyotas by mistakes. they have a warranty too right? are they waterproof? i need to know.

looks like good stuff. will check them out. make a good gift for someone i know...

This is what I was going to ask. I'm a Cub Scout leader of some boys that will be crossing over to Boy Scouts in about a year. I also have a couple of Boy Scouts that help as Den Chiefs. Looks like I need to save up and may have found gifts for them.

As always, thank you for producing a quality product.

Let us know how many sets you need for your scouts. No charge. Email me jeff@eseeknives.com

Tell me how that happened??? I quoted Jeff on his post then ended up with the post before his.

What we have found training folks is they can be very good at practicing a skill such as navigation, but stress them a little bit and they start losing the ability to do things that are otherwise second-nature. So, info cards are handy tools to keep in your pack.

Jeff first of all THANK YOU!!!!!! I have been looking for something like this forever. I have multiple reason for this mostly the fact that while under stress and having a million things coming at you at once I find it comforting to sit down and go over some of this basic information again. It kinda gives you a grip on life again. Also I want a set so that if something happens like a small head injury or confusion or in a hypothermic state where you start to not think clearly I want something that covers the basics to give me reminders.

Also Jeff as an avid boy scout, well I used to be, but I am still close with my Scout Leader, I really appreciate your support of the scouting. I feel that boy scouts is the best way for men in urban areas to learn wilderness and life skills.

And as others have stated I will be getting multiple sets for all of my friends and family. And one will be going with me into the backcountry for my 6 month stint coming up.

Something is going strange with Bladeforums. I've had a couple of posts that were not in the right order. Go figure.

Stormstaff, email me with a shipping address and the number of sets you need.

Hey Jeff,

I'm assuming they will fit in an Altoids tin?

I did the same thing awhile back for mini PSK's I put together. Works great!

Awesome.....that's definitely great to throw in your hunting/camping bag or to buy for a kid (I don't have any) to get him thinking about survival stuff.

These look great. I run a wilderness awareness program for kids. I'll be picking up a few sets as soon as they're available.

I plan on pick up a three sets one of my nephew who has worked his butt off a just made eagle scout about two weeks ago. I have help him on a lot of he's project along the way and very proud of him. Now the other two will be for me and my son who just started cub scout this year. Matter a fact we just got home from his pinewood derby race. Lots a fun build that little car.
