Ive been using Loveless style fasteners to attach my handles, but I have been seeing many styles of bolts being used especially on more tactical style knives.
Mostly with some type of allen or hex , domed and also counter sunk.
Im guessing they are 2 pc bolts one male and one female that screw together.

Ok, so my questions are:
special names for these?
How do they work ?
Where can I find some ?
any other Info is appreciated.
thank you
George.........

You can get the two-part male/female bolts. They work great.
I've bought them from Pop's Knife Supply but they are available other places as well. On Pop's website they are called "Handles Screws" on Jantz they are called "Corby Rivets" and they probably have different names elsewhere. Those places also sell the counterbore tools that you need to install the handle screws.
The handle screws come with a bunch of extra material on both ends, so you can grind them down flush with your handle material.
If you want the screws to be removable you can replace the stock-screw with a new one. Torx head screws tend to be popular with knifemakers. I bought my matching Torx screws from Jantz Supplies IIRC. The screw sizes are listed on those websites, just get matching sizes.
