info needed on a knife

Was wondering if anyone had more info on this knife. It is a replica the blade is steel and the handle is resin. Was told Gerber made it I'm not so sure.

given that info, I have to wonder whose hair that is hanging off that knife.

Gerber made a short run of those. They pop up every now and then around the Portland OR area. Very cool pieces too I do believe the blades are cast D2 and the jaw bone handles are resin cast. The ones I have seen appear well built.

Thanks. Was told it was Gerber but with no marks on it or the sheath I wasn't sure.
