Info on butterfly knife

Hi Dannyc,

I'm a Modern Arnis student, so I'm very interested in the bladed weapons of the Philippines. Where are the best balisongs, bolos, barongs, and kampilans made? What steel do the knifesmiths normally use? What are the average prices for these blades?

Also, do the arnisadors and eskrimadors there use rattan when they fight, or do they prefer hardwoods(kamagong, bahi, yakal, etc.)?

Thanks Titan. I took a look at it and sure enough, it would work wellas a bottle opener. Imagine my surprise. Thanks for the info.
