I'm looking for info /pics of the different variations of the C36 military model.
Anyone know the sequence of variance of the blade steels used ?
Any pics of the jimping on the earlier & later versions?
any help appreciated.

The light was about gone here when I shot this. Top to bottom: ATS-34, CPM 440V, BG-42 and CPM D2. The first two have the old style jimping, the last two have the new style. As far as I know, the steel order was ATS-34, 440V, S30V, BG-42, CPM D2, with S90V coming soon. Sorry I can't help with dates, I've only been doing the Spydie bit for the last couple of years.

The first steel was 440V,changed to ATS34 and went back to 440V.
The fist 440V ones should have a 2 screw clip as well as early ATS34 pieces. The 3 screw clip was added while the ATS 34 was in use.

Thank you. Since all mine have the three screw clips, I guess I got them in the right order. I just didn't go back far enough ;)
