Well, I've decided that this year for my birthday I'm going to get myself a Don Morrow 2-bladed Saddlehorn Trapper. That's all fine and dandy, but I want a sheath for the knife. So, I've come here for some advice. What I'm looking for is something similar to a sheath I saw in the exchange forum with a knife sold by Cpirtle and apparently made by the maker of the knife Mike Ouimette. It's referred to as a saddle-bag type sheath, and kind of looks like the leather tool kits found on the front of most harleys. I'm wondering if anyone can help me when the time comes with something like that?
I guess you could equate it to those old Schrade sheaths that attach horizontally to your belt and then have the pouch with a snap--close cover. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Anthony

A picture of what you want would help. Sounds like a basic case though so it should be fairly simple to make.

Being a lowly basic member, I can't post pictures directly, but the sheath can be seen by doing a search of the "For Sale" forums by looking for a thread posted by Cpirtle entitled "Great Package." I'd be happy to send you a picture of it, but you can see it by doing the search. I can't figure out how to just post the thread here, otherwise I would. Sorry for the work! Thanks for the interest, though! I'm really excited to be getting my birthday knife! I just want a great sheath for it. Thanks, again.

Sincerely,
Anthony

Hope this helps.
