I received this as a gift.

Tried to identify, other than it's a 2004 525, thru special projects in newsletters, 2003, 2004 and 2005. No luck:grumpy:.

So I come here asking the knowlegeable and helpful folks...what is this little gem?

These are made for Cabela's. There is also an Elk verson.

They also came in two different sizes. Yours is the smaller one, the larger one will be the size of a 501. Nice knife by the way. HL
